President's Message

Welcome to our home website of Theta Chi Chapter, Inc. of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc.  We are a chapter of the "Proud and Purposeful" Northeast Region!  Our chapter was chartered in Queens, New York, on May 22, 1965, and it is a 501c(3) organization.

I am the newly elected President of our chapter of compassionate registered nurses.  Our mighty professional nursing organization was founded by 12 visionary registered nurses at Freeman’s Hospital in Washington, DC, in 1932.  The nurses in this great organization have various professional experiences, including clinical, academia, administration, research, medical technology, and armed forces.

The Chi Eta Phi Sorority's motto is "Service for Humanity," and its theme is "Committed and Empowered to Provide Community Service in a Global Society."

We are committed to serving the community through health screenings, patient education, speaking engagements, mentoring, professional development, and nursing scholarships.  Since we are a nonprofit service organization, we rely on support from our community stakeholders like you through sponsoring events, collaborations, volunteerism, and monetary donations.

Please peruse our website for more information about our programs and services.
